Okay so I have officially done it. I have opened pandora's box. Well, actually my husband opened it for me. :) I am about to air my dirty laundry (literally). I am awful at doing laundry, terrible really. I don't know why but I ABSOLUTELY hate it with all my heart. Even though my husband says that the machine does all the work. My cute hubby has even offered to do all the laundry, however, in an effort to be a good housewife I have not let him do that. Really it's the putting away that drives me absolutely nuts. Why you ask? I really have no idea. I would rather scrub a toilet then do laundry. I would honestly, and I mean this honestly, even though my husband laughs at this, get a root canal than do laundry.
Okay, well my husband had nothing clean to wear so I decided, well again he decided for me that it was time to do laundry. I noticed he probably wanted me to do this when I saw it ALL laying on our family room floor. I really should have taken a picture to post to go along with it. The pile was quite substantial. I have widdled it down to about half its size and I think I should be finished by the end of the year! :)
Okay, back to the box. In addition to doing the laundry I decided to launch something called Project Organization. This is where I would like to slap that dang Pandora! One drawer led to another and to make a long story short I got sidetracked and I now have an extremely organized kitchen and a pile of laundry still on my family room floor. :)

Here we go.........
This is my first time blogging. I am officially a blogger, I guess. I am using that term VERY loosely right now. This is all very new to me. I sm still trying to learn how this all works. Wish me luck, as getting me this far has taken me much more time than I will ever admit! :)

I do this very often. It's my project ADD. Then I can't find anything after I'm done and my Dave tells me, "You must have organized it."
Funny - last Saturday I had 8 piles of laundry on the living room floor. I got through them but on Monday some people were coming for dinner so I had to squish the clean clothes up and pile them in my room. It's now Thursday and they are still there.
I have this same problem. Although the wrinkled t-shirts that get pulled out to be worn drive me up a wall. I also find other house hold chores to keep me from parking by butt down and actually folding. I have found however that if I do fold them as they come out of the dryer I do a much better job. If I don't quite make it to that point, Coby and I usually wait until Thursday night and the kids are in bed. Then he helps fold. It is nice to know that there is a lack of Mommies that love to do their laundry.....
HILARIOUS!!!
Looking forward to hanging out with you this summer!
Hey! I found your site through Paige's, so cute! I love the background! Your kids are so funny and so darn cute! We will have to get Alli and Caitlyn playing together since she is starting to get over her social anxiety. We'll have to get them and RJ to play together this summer! I used to love laundry and now it has become the biggest pain. Well next to toliets, I hate those even more. Mike has offered to do the laundry but I am a little OCD and have to have it folded and put away a certain way!! I always know it is time when Mike takes the hampers to the laundry room!!
I'm with you on this one. We refer to laundry as my "mortal enemy." When I have all the money in the world, I will never touch another piece of my clothing again...dirty or clean. Someone will pick up after me, clean it and yes the horible put away. One day...if only!
Cute blog, I am glad I found it! cute picture of your kids, who took it?
We will have to get the kids together. Oh and I hate laundry too!
